Oops, I meant to correct the title of the thread in my last post and hit
"send" too soon...

One of my pet peeves, but conFIRMation is when the motel clerk assures you
that yes, they WILL have a room for you that night, and gives you a
number.

On the other hand, conFORMation refers to how a critter is put together.

Good way to remember it is that conFORMation has to do with how a critter
is FORMed.
