The first saddle I bought for my 6 & 8 yr old
kids was a 14" Abetta, with a horn. It fit our Quarter horse,
Arabian, and our POA, however, it was not the Arabian model. It
was light enough for the kids to saddle up without help, and was very
comfortable & secure as a trail saddle and did go to a couple of schooling
shows. It's 6 years old now, still in good shape, & will probably go spend
some time at the neighbor's along with our POA (for their kids), as my kids have
outgrown both.
