[RC] Experiences with Equilox Hoof Armor - Karen CasemierI searched the archives, but didn't find much information on this (did find a few other queries). If any of you have used hoof armor, whether successfully or unsuccessfully, can you please share your experiences with me? I'm asking for my husband, who is currently evaluating different boots and shoeing options in part for his own gelding, but also because he is in vet school with a particular interest in hoof care. We've been able to find out quite a bit about the different types of boots (easy boots, old mac, boa, etc.) and alternative shoeing options in the archives and through other online resources, but not much about hoof armor. If you have used it, I'd be interested in knowing the condition of your horse's hooves prior to using it, the condition of the hooves after using it, and why you choose an alternative to conventional shoeing. If you feel more comfortable e-mailing me directly, my address (for those reading in the archives) is kcrazzmatazz at hotmail dot com. Thanks!
