Re: [RC] Lyte-Now... what color should it be? - sharon1359Hmm, I've gotten several replies. They range from "it should be off-white" to "dark brown is fine, it's BLACK that is not OK". Which is it please? :p LOL We got Lyte-Now from 3 different sources prior to this ride, and ALL of them were dark brown. One of the horses had no ill effects (she was given Lyte-Now exclusively), but the other one may have...? I gave my gelding EnduraMax/applesauce before and after the ride, and Lyte-Now during the ride. He didn't drink all that well during the ride, especially for the first hour after being dosed, but I assumed it was because the e-lytes bothered his mouth and/or belly. (He still hasn't gotten used to them even when I use EnduraMax with Pro-Bi or applesauce and I've ALMOST decided to never use them again.) He also lost a lot of weight during the first few days after the ride, and he stopped cleaning his hay up. Ate all his grain but not his hay. He's back to eating all his hay but still hasn't really put the weight on that I'd like to see. Thanks for the clarification... -Sharon =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
