[RC] Re-phrase on lead changes - k s swigart

Ray said:

what are the pros and cons of the rider dictating this?
Surely eventing horses do it on their own?(?)

Most assuredly not eventing horses do not "do it on their own." The
horse didn't walk the course, doesn't know how far it is between jumps,
doesn't know when it is going to have to turn or which way and only
somebody with a death wish would let the horse go into a turn and/or
approach a big, fixed fence on the wrong lead and leave the horse to
figure out for itself that it is sufficiently off balance that it needs
to change leads.

Far better to be on the correct lead before going into the turn...ask
any barrel racer.
