Re: [RC] Money for Necropsy - Susan GarlinghouseP.S. Necropsy and Autopsy seem to mean the same thing. I looked it up in the dictionary. One pointed to the other. Autopsy generally refers to a post mortem exam/necropsy on a human subject (the "auto"=self part). Necropsy just means post mortem exam, though it usually refers to something other than your own species. So an autopsy is always a necropsy, but a necropsy is not necessarily an autopsy.
