Re: [RC] [Guest] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.0816 Horse Blanket - Ridecamp ModeratorChipnml@xxxxxxxI agree with Raven...the Dover "Rider International" blankets are equal in quality to the Takas, but about $100 cheaper. I would also suggest a polar-fleece hood and liner for those -40 degree days. As long as he has good access to a loafing shed and getting plenty of hay (preferably free choice) he should be fine. I'm from Minnesota and we deal with plenty of sub-zero weather, though not as much as you, and not in the past few years (we're due for a doozy!). =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
