[RC] ruffled feathers - rides2far, an endurance horse cannot automatically be reclassified solely on the assumption that a degree of successful completions, etc., must deem that horse unsuitable to continue or to ever return to that level of competition. It just isn't the same. Oh boy, argument for the sake of argument...my specialty! >eg< So...why don't they let race horses drop back into the maiden ranks? As much as I love analogies, I guess they just don't always cross over. And back to the dog analogy... I think we were talking about obedience classes, not conformation. Don't know if that makes any difference on rules though. Hey, my dog and I even have one qualifying score on a sheepherding degree! Three levels there, ducks, sheep & cattle. I can just picture two dogs arguing...one explaining that he *prefers* duck herding. It's not that he can't herd cattle, he simply sees no reason to herd cattle when he is enjoying herding ducks! :-) Angie ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
