[RC] hay--recommended daily allowances - Linda Dewees

I just got a retriever load or bermuda hay and I got a copy of a hay analysis that was done on this farm's hay last year at this time. (I'm assuming the values would still be about the same?) Can anyone tell me what the ideal values would be, or where I could find this info?  After looking at my Susan G notes and searching the archives I think this hay is pretty good so far.  At last I have a way of trying to learn more about my hay. Is there anything I should supplement?   Here are a few of the results for dry matter:

% protein    12.3
% TDN       58    (how's that?)  they also have horse TDN  49
% calcium     .52
% phosphorus  .13
% magnesium   .19
% potassium   2.37
% sodium       .064
iron ppm  245
zinc ppm  18
copper ppm 8
manganese ppm 97
molybdenum ppm  <1
selenium ppm  .5  (do I need to supplement?  I saw that Heidi said .8-1.0 is ideal)
