[RC] Farewell to Felex - Judy Houle

This morning my horse Felex died of what appears to be
an internal abscess, possibly bastard strangles from a
bout he had last fall.  I am going to bury him on the
place, so an autopsy would be out of the question if
its strangles.  He started acting sick on Sat. and
went downhill fast, becoming three legged because of
what appeared to be swelling on the upper inside of
his rear leg.  

He was a great horse, having done 12 hundred milers,
incuding three Tevises, and finished the Swanton 100
six weeks ago.  He will be greatly missed.
