Re: [RC] AERC Online points have changed - DeAnn SchneppleI just received a call from sweet Jackie Jones (ride manager of Headwaters). Now this is a ride I attempted to do last month and had to rider option after 15 miles. I was very, very sick. I pulled myself. When I looked at the lastest points and ride results it stated that it was rider option, but for lameness. I understand from Jackie that the vets are the ones that report that information to AERC through RM. I do not understand though how after vetting in after 15 miles with all A's on my vet card that the vet at this ride would just assume that my horse was lame. It was made very clear to him that I was sick and needed to be trailered back to camp. I know in the big picture of life this is so miniscule, but it just seems that first and formost AERC is supposed to be a record-keeping organization. And when an attept to correct errorous information is tried over and over with NO success, that something is wrong. The ride managers of Headwaters are great people as well as all the other hard working RM. But when I call AERC over and over and send letters and get NO results- that's when I give up. And I have.
