Re: [RC] Training accident opinions please OT (wearing glasses" - Sisu West Ranch"...I never wear glasses..." There are many people who must wear glasses at all times to be able to find the horse if nothing less. The safety training I received in industry mandated safety glasses for almost any activity. I purchased a pair of sports goggles that are held on by an elastic strap, and have a padded bridge. They are fitted with safety lenses (actually the photochromic ones). I am actually much safer riding while wearing them, because they protect my eyes from sticks, stones and horses hooves. I purchased them after getting a corneal abrasion from a twig on an endurance ride. Next to my brain (protected by my helmet), my eyes are something I don't want to loose.
