Uh, whatever happened to the concept that
you have to have standards at least as stringent as AERC's, but that an
individual ride can have standards MORE stringent, provided they are announced
in advance?? This is no different from a ride requiring horses be shod
(AERC does not require that), or not allowing younger riders at Tevis, or
SERA having a no-riding-until-you-turn-8 rule. Now, if they had allowed
an hour and a half, THAT would be unacceptable, as it is less strict than
"the rules."
