It was darn hot, but I didn't know a horse died. I also read the protest this last month and was appalled. I can only assume anyone that would ride and whip a horse like that not only didn't own and love the horse in question, but shouldn't be allowed to ride horses at all. If only we could legislate common sense and compassion, huh? Was well over 100 here today. All my horses got was lots of clean water , as much bermuda as they could eat and apples from the tree out back.
