[RC] Rattlesnakes on the Olmstead Loop - sindy mccosker
I know that most of you that ride in the Sierra Foothills are aware that the rattlesnakes are out.
This morning my dog was bitten by a rattler on our way back in to the parking lot behind the firehouse in Cool. This snake was VERY close to the trail edge. I ran her to the Vet and hopefully she will be okay. This is the first time in 6 years she has been bitten by one.
Be VERY careful if you take your best friends out riding or hiking with you. I should have left her home this morning.
