Here in Michigan we pay anywhere from 6.75 to 10.00 a 40# bag.  We raise a
lot of sugar beets in Michigan (ever hear of Big Chief or Peninsula Sugar?)
but this stuff is shipped from someplace else, can't remember where.  Later
in the year, we'll probably start getting the stuff that is from Michigan.
I have gotten it for as little at $5 a bag before when we bought 1/2 ton at
a time.  I guess it would depend on where it's being shipped from!!!  Maybe
I should finance some of my out of state rides by hauling beet pulp along
with me???  :)
