[RC] Little Manistee part 3 - Larry Miller

Panting means that it was humid out, which it was, and Malik was having a hard time cooling off.  Plus he needed to pee, once he did, the panting went away.  Anerobic means using the oxygen not from the lungs but what is stored in the muscles.  At least in simple terms, that is what it means to me.  My gelding did the same thing, wasn't as humid out at White River Spring, but he needed to pee, when he did, he was a different horse.  I would guess it is like you and me when we need to pee and are having a hard time holding it.  We get kinda stressed, don't we!!  LOL.  Go Malik and Maggie, I am very proud of you guys.  Jeanie (Miller)
