Re: [RC] [RC] bitless bridle - DeAnn SchneppleLori, I use the bitless bridle with my very strong 5 year old gelding. I rode him on trail for the first time in 6 moths, this past Saturday through very, very tall lush grass. You guessed it, all he wanted to do was eat and eat!!! I could not pull his head up. I was so frustrated I finally got off and walked beside him. Everytime he even looked like he was going to put his head down to eat, well let's just say I stopped him. I think for a horse in training that you still need a bit. I know they're only for communication not control, but I think "my communication" will be much better in a bit. My other 4 horses do extremly well in the bitless bridle, but then I can ride all of them in just a halter.DeAnn From: LTYearwood@xxxxxxx To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [RC] bitless bridle Date: Mon, 12 May 2003 08:50:13 EDT _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
