Re: [RC] [RC] Exempts private property, military lands and all plant lifefrom ESA (fw - Nannette Young
I didn't mean to start anything with the "preserve" comments, just
responding to another's comment on not being able to do anything with their
own land.
We love the fact that we can ride in the preserve! Your right about the
fencing and the water. And the ranchers are good friends of ours. We let
them know when there's a leak in their water lines that run from wells to
water tanks along the dirt roads, which is frequent. We ride the dirt roads
more than they do so it works out nicely.
We, my husband and I, just regret that we don't have the big bucks to get
the permits to do anything with our land that happens to border the
preserve! I would like to be able to put them in "fences" on our property
(can't just let them run a muck), along with drilling a well for water (the
permit thing again). I guess I'll have to win the lottery first.
