Re: [RC] The USA-E notice and AERC members - John Teeter
True it does say that it is the members of affiliates who will receive the
benifit of automatic, en-mass, horse-ID allocation. (basically your horses'
AERC number would become acceptable as your USAe horse-id number. )
But AERC is not currently an affiliate with USAe (having dropped the
affiliate status when/during the "National Championship" and
Gastrogard discussion time periods.)
The lack of en-mass Horse ID allocation would only affect those horeses,
like mustangs or "grades", which don't have a breed registration number;
all others would be covered if they were registered.

association and you are currently required to supply a registration number
in order to compete (e.g. Arabians, Half-Arabians, Morgan, Paso Fino,
Andalusian, etc.), then you will not be required to supply your horse ID
number when you enter, your registration number will satisfy the horse ID
requirement"
