    I read Randy's posts.  Any published interpretation by the Rules
    Committee is just that, sort of like an Attorney General's opionion --
    just an opinion, a judge and jury (or in our case, the BoD) has the
    real say.  I hope it doesn't take a protest to resolve this!
    
    Randy's second post actually supported my position, by clearly
    demonstrating that the MOTION presented and passed applies only to vet
    checks along the trail, and NOT the post-finish-line exam.  That the
    later drafting of the rule was improperly worded and put in the wrong
    place, leading to some confusion on this point, needs to be fixed.
    But it is clear from the motion that was passed by the Board, that
    said motion specifically DOES NOT APPLY to the post-finish-line exam.
