Thanks Joan, I did send them a note.  Three very good friends of mine were
observing Tevis this year from start to finish. They toured the barns the
day after, and were shocked to find many horses without food OR water
(especially barn 56)
Can anyone think of a valid reason for a horse to be without water the day
after doing a 100 mile ride?
