Hashknife 50

Hashknife was another  typical Waltenspiel production--- beautiful,
well-marked trails and some of the most gorgeous scenery in the Bay Area.
  If those hills had had snow on them they would have looked like the
Alps!    We were thankful for the fog that lasted well into the ride.  
Ample water everywhere, well-designed loop trails through a privately
owned ranch with some really majestic oak trees, madrone, doug. fir,
redwoods, bay trees, a marvellously diverse blend; blue brodiaeas
everywhere,  blooming in the wild grasses.  Orioles and western tanagers
too!   All the LD's finished;  41 of the 44 50's finished.  Good vets,
good food, good company.   Ruthie and Ron, thank you so much for
presenting us with this wonderful ride!    Connie B.
