Those horses weren't being abused. They can video away. It's impossible
to know every dang thing about a horse, as was said before, because you
only have a short picture of the horse unless you ask them to come back
for recheck (which I do frequently) and even then sometimes things don't
go right. 
This is worlds away from beating a horse to a pulp or doing surgery on
its appearance. Heck I think it could be a case of, Hey, look at all the
great work the docs are doing. 
It's pretty amazing field medicine. And anyone who met the riders and was
paying attention would know for the most part that the riders are very
concerned about the horse's well being.   Not the case in the showring
abuse.
