Oh no indeed! providing medical care is a far cry from the rampant abuse -
beating, drugging, soring, gingering, etc. that goes on behing closed doors
and sometimes right in front of the judges! But then the JUDGES will be
SHOWING under one of those trainer/judges NEXT weekend so do you think for a
moment they want to tattle or DQ someone?
In any sport, equine, human, whatever, occasional medical intervention takes
place, and it is to the credit of our sport that we have it readily
available. Ths is not the same as clear and flagrant abuse at the shows.

One thing though guys...
What if someone had a video of all those horses at the Pan Ams in the
treatment tent. As it was, the public who saw all the horses on IVs were
quite upset with what was going on. I must say that if I wasn't already
in the sport that would have turned me off endurance pretty quick.
I'd say we have some problems of our own.
