Male anatomical complications

This is a kind of personal question and may have been addressed
previously, but I couldn't think of a topic it would be filed under in the
archives.......also if you have a reply, it might be better if you email me
personally.
Quest. #!: My wonderful husband(not mentioning his name), whom
many of you know well, is starting his first season of endurance riding on
a very nice tall long legged arabian(that he gets along with
well)------after being a top notch crew for me the last two years--------it
might be short lived if we don't FIX this "problem". With all the male
riders in this sport, I can't believe that there isn't a solution or
"trick"to help him out. My husband's complaint is that he finds riding
fast (trotting, etc.) somewhat painful.........and he has some chafing.
Now what we were wondering, is do male riders do something special, or wear
something under their jeans or riding pants????

Quest. #2: Also, he has been riding with a western saddle, and
will be using this on his first ride next week......we are both doing a 25
in GA. If he is serious about this I am going to purchase a saddle for him
to use......he basically only wants to do limited distance. I know that we
have covered saddles before, but is there a "secret saddle" that is more
comfortable for MALE riders????

Quest. #3: And is there anyone out there that uses the Abetta
Endurance Saddle? It is reasonably priced ($375.00) and I have talked to a
few people who have used them for trail riding only.....not endurance
specifically.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
