first horse was a sorrel with a snip and star and my favorite color is true
solid black, of course my dream horse would not fade in the sun. My grandson has
inherited my love of the black horse , because when I told him I was
looking for a good kids horse for him he ordered a black
one.

I like bays, myself. And I've got this
theory - your favorite horse color tends to be the color of your first
horse. The horse that you first spent all that time on, especially if
you got started as a kid.
So, those of you who have a preference, is that the color
that your first horse was?
Yup, mine was a bay mare (with a star). I like mares
too....
