And there are adjustments that can be done to the stifle as well. A friend's gelding was just sent to a trainer and the trainer said the horse's stifle locks up. My friend is at a loss at what this means or what to do. A vet suggested iodine shots. (??) Is this something that will cause problems down the road? Can a horse get over it with better condiditoning?
