Straight line
This is what I call a dog trot in a horse. The right hind tracks in the
left fore print and the right hind is off to the left of the left fore
print. Some suppling work can help, but a lot of time a visit with the
chiropracter and/or accupuncture works well so you can be more effective
with your ring work. Also follow that up with daily stretch, or a least
before you ride. Nancy Spencer has some excellant stretch exercises and
even puts out a poster showing the stretches and even more important
your body position while doing the stretches for your horse. You don't
want to throw something out of whack while helping your horse.
Louise and Summitt who benefits geatly from stretching and lateral work
to keep him straight.
