Apparently this must have struck a chord within Tom as I don't recall
naming anyone... I was, in fact, referring to several grinches.  Me thinks
the man doth protest too much!!  Whatever....footstomping diatribe, huh?  I
have something simpler to add...bite me.  I don't care.  I don't know what
makes you think you have the right to go stomping all over everybody in
whatever manner you wish, saying whatever you might wish... whatever
interest I MAY have had in the carbohydrates question was long ago
exhausted as I waded through and deleted crappy message after crappy
message.... you don't know me well enough to call me hypocritical.  You
don't know me at all!  Your attempt to make some of us feel unworthy of
contributing to RC is simply rude and offensive (not mudslinging, just
true!)....of course, I wouldn't want to get "demolished" so to speak.  I
have had a few verbal sparrings with folks on RC but I have never behaved
as badly as you are.  Ridecamp was not created by Steph to be abused so
blatantly for one's own ego trips... I joined RC to learn and make some
friends who share my philosophy of "To finish is to win" (and some friends
who don't!) and perhaps gain some understanding of the issues within the
sport. If the words "tiresome drivel" and "grinch" would cause you to lash
out at me in such an aggressive manner, must be you recognized something
about yourself.  It's too bad, too, because when you were on RC previously,
I feel that I learned quite a lot from you...I don't ever recall getting
such a nasty response from you and I don't think your verbal wars ever got
so out of hand with Susan.  I value your expertise in your area but I don't
appreciate or respect the manner in which you have been delivering it
lately.  And I have the right to say what I think or feel without worrying
about being attacked personally.  I probably shouldn't post this because I
really hate perpetuating this any more than it has been but I care about
the Ridecamp forum and I bet there are plenty others out there who feel the
same way.  It's long overdue for the time to change the subject or at least
STAY on subject....carbos anyone?
