Re: Barn Suggestions?

We have two barns. One is a Barn Master steel building with 2 12x12
stalls with dutch doors leading to a 12x24 overhang which itself is a
pen. We keep three horses in there when the hill gets too slippery.
Looking at the steel barns of various makes, I suspect that there
isn't anything to choose between them. After five years there is a
little corrosion especially near any welds, but nothing that you
wouldn't expect, even galvanized steel corrodes (heck even stainless
steel corrodes).

The other barn is our hay barn which I built nine years ago using oat
straw. It looks like it will out last the house. The roof (wood and
shingles) will be the first thing to go there. Cool in the summer,
warm in the winter.
