We are just starting our 2nd barn- what we learned from the first -

- pave the aisle and put down mats
- you can never have enough storage space
- wood is for houses not stalls - (boy it was beautiful the first day !)

What we are doing again - 12'  center aisle, hose bibs at both ends of the
barn, stall guards or dutchdoors for socializing, light and outlet at each
stall, lots of light down the center, insulate the ceiling , mats in the
stalls, a roof on the tackroom adding storage space above it.
