Registration Fee
Steph,
Aren't you and Mike Maul planning on having a booth at the convention?
Perhaps you want to have a donation box set up at the booth. I for one
will be glad to contribute $10.00 as either a donation, or a fee. The
convention would be a convient time (for me anyway - not to be selfish) to
sign up and pay.

I'd suggest to Steph that instead of a fee she go the public radio
route. Keep the forum free (but require registration including
submitting your real name and address), but ask for donations to
defray the cost. I'd be willing to contribute, and I bet there'd be a
lot of others who would too. But the less-committed lurker (and
occasional posters) wouldn't be run off.
