Without seeing exactly what your talking about its hard to say.Its doesn't sound like something eggbars would help.If you have a vet or blacksmith thats easy to talk to I would do this.Simply ask them why? They should be able to explain the theory behind how an egg bar would stop this from happening. From my experience I have learned unless it is causing a problem the best thing to do for a horse of riding age is to balance the foot and live with the way it goes. Now if this is causing problems then it may be a different story. One thing to keep in mind especially if the horse just started this is to make sure you are treating the problem and not a symptom.A horse does not change its gate for no particular reason and often by trying to fix a symptom we make the problem worse.Just some thoughts RD. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
