This is probably WHY he is terrified of paint horses!  Any poor gelding 
pastured with a mare, of any color, probably has the right to be terrified.  
Mares can be very dominating ... most geldings don't have a chance! (This is 
based on observations of the dominance of my mare over the geldings in the 
paddock.  It's also supposed to be humorous, so don't take it too seriously). 
 Also, some horses are just afraid of cows, period.
