Ok, one of my more interesting rides on a green broke 4 yr old Paso was the 
day about two weeks after I got Alpine that we loaded up to go trail riding 
in a new place.  Got there, unloaded, tacked up, went to get on, and 
discovered i forgot my stirrups!!!!!  I had taken them off to clean the 
saddle, and then promptly left them on my couch.  Oops.  Needless to say, it 
was an interesting, and very slow, ride that day!

I have also hauled off and forgotten:
1. saddle pad
2. bit (good thing he rides in a halter and 2 leads when I want him too!)
3. helmet
4 girth

Mind you, we haven't started competeing at all yet, these were all just fun 
rides.  God help me when I start out on real rides!!!!
