Hi All -
Watching a Parelli demo, the trainer would stand *still* in the center and
expect the horse to maintain the gait until asked to switch gears. Voila,
no diziness. I've been training my horse to do this, and it's nice not to
be spinning all the time. Yeah, you have to turn at first, but you can
start sneaking in a lap without you turning, and eventually your horse
figures out what s/he is supposed to be doing. Now I just move and get
after him if he slows down when I have not asked. It's sooooo much easier.
