Wait a minute,  you were riding...and watching his tail?  Either that's a
really tight circle, or are you on there backwards?

Somebody once told me that if you lunge a horse in one direction until
you're dizzy, if you reverse your brain will "unwind".  It honestly
seemed to help, but it could have been the placebo effect...if I believed
it, it worked.  Don't know if it would work riding backwards or not.
