I think there must be two kinds of SS saddles.  I borrowed one from a friend
and at the end of an hour had muscle cramps so bad I could hardly dismount.
Then I tried another one at the tack store that was so comfortable I bought
it.  I like it, Fox likes it.  In my distant youth, I rode bareback a lot
and thought it was relatively safer because you knew what the horse was
thinking in time to plan ahead.
