Sue G. brings up an interesting point.  Most of the pulls
were the second day for the NY 100 (3day CTR) and the VT 100
(3day CTR). Weather conditions being similar in both cases, and
I think distances were similar each day.

Were the miles covered approximately the same
 at the time of the pulls (for both rides?)

 I don't have the data, but for example
 were most of the pulls after about 20
 or so miles in boths cases on the *2nd*  day ?  i.e. were the pulls clustered, or just randomly spread out over 3 days.?
