re poultices for founder

 Someone wrote in a week or so ago about using magnets and I believe it was an arnica and witch hazel poultice on a foundered horse. Could you please give more details on the poultice? I have been working on a horse for about two years. We get her pretty sound and she has another episode and we start all over again. Right now she is very sore again and I am supposed to meet the vet wednesday to work on her again. Also I put the Cupid shoes on Carol Crawford's Piney. She rode the 80 at Pacific Crest but I haven't heard how they held up.
