Hurricane Floyd
Man, this is all I need. Guess where they say it's most likely to hit? The
Volusia/Flagler County areas. Guess where I live? I have three horses and a
three horse trailer, so it sounds like I can take them with me, right?
The only problem is I have one horse, Dance Line, who is actually part
giraffe and because of his long neck, 17hand height, and long back, he has to
take up two spaces in the trailer. So which horse do I love the least?
I'm thinking of trying to put Dance Line in the last spot, back him into the
trailer, take off the top half of the back, and trailer with half his neck
and head sticking out the back. This should provide quite alot of
entertainment to anyone who might be following me during the evacuation. If
any vehicle tries to tailgate me, the whites of Dance's eyes should alert
them that maybe they're following just a little too close. Or maybe he'll
just lower his head next to their hood ornament and slobber all over their
windshield.
Anyhow wish me and my neighbors luck. Florida is getting to be the most
exciting place to live, especially around my area. Like the fires last year
weren't enough, let's throw a hurricane into an area that's only been hit
once (so far) this century.
