Check out the Big Horn also (looks very similar to the Abetta.) I have one
and really like it...you're pretty well balanced (very similar to my
dressage saddles), good construction, lots of Ds, comfortable, sheepskin
underside (instead of neoprene in the Abetta), rear cinch ring which gives
you more options for girthing. I added EZ Ride stirrups (the new
lightweight plastic ones), sheepskin seat cover, and a neoprene girth since
I'm not a great 'felt' girth fan. Pretty comfy. Price is about the same
as the Abetta. It's a bit too wide for my new horse so I'll be in the
market for another saddle next spring to fit Billy. (Thinking maybe an
SR...really liked what I saw at the convention last year. We'll see. ;-))
