Re: Heartcheck
Okay, gotta few questions ;-)...
If you're at a ride and the P&R person is using a heart rate monitor,
does the rider have the right to request an "ol' fashioned" P&R check
using a stethoscope instead?
Also, what options does a rider have when she feels that the P&R check
was inaccurate, whether it be electronic or with a stethoscope? Can a
person request another check using a different P&R person (if one is
available and not busy at the moment (okay, stop laughing and rollin' on
the floor, I hear 'ya))? Couldn't find these answers on the AERC
website or the online handbook... do the AERC members receive a more
detailed rulebook or ??? with membership?
Thanks much in advanced,
Kim (and 'Lee)
