I have been using the Heartcheck for two years now. I have never had a problem with the readings. At the PAC they were very close to the stethascope reading. I use the old Polar watch. Used it at the MW Championships (we had to pull saddles). I had no one to recheck before going to P&R. No problems. I have no problem with P&R people using them. They would be alot faster than an inexperienced P&R person that can't find the heart rate.
