Lots and lots and lots and lots of very good volunteers and hundreds of
pounds of white stuff and many miles of ribbons and volunteers on horseback,
during the ride,  armed with spools of ribbons ready to remark at a moments
notice.  These  mounted volunteers by the way, knew every inch of their
section of trail.  It was quite a feat.      gesa
