Re: RC: training question

God what a question!

If your rides are anything like UK ones, get your horse used to tents
flapping pretty fast. Even though our venues now corral and camp slightly
seperatly the horses still end up being lead past the demon tent monsters.

Be prepared for horsey people doing really dim things too, like moving a
tent whilst still in errected ( but obviously not pegged down) past your
triler just as you try to unload your horse, reversing tow vehicle at your
horse etc.

ALso be prepared for horse to decide not eat anything but grasss on the day
of the ride and take plenty of food and hay/haylage for after vet checks.

try and prepare your horsefor trot ups surrounded by strangers and being
used to having bumps and lupms fondled by said starngers!

Good luck Im sure youll have fun!

Tamara
