My mare had to be trailered out once and I never gave it a second thought 
because she loaded in my trailer from the age of two months.  However, I have 
always had stock/slant load trailers.  She hopped right into the two horse 
inline trailer and when we got to where we were going we were stuck because 
she didn't know how to back out and that was a big, scary step down.  What a 
nightmare.
