My newbie understanding/experience:
- I never clip the hair that hangs down from the back of the fetlock
because it acts as a drip line to keep excess moisture off the back of the
pastern.
- The one time my gelding did develop a mild case of scratches, I used Baza
Cream (after cleaning and drying the area), and it cleared up quickly.
