Pedigree question

Okay for all you bloodline folk out there.  I have a friend with a very nice
mare he is considering selling and would like to know something about her
breeding.  I recognize the obvious, limited knowledge at best so am looking
for some help here.

On the dam's side she has *Bask, *Witez II, I'm okay here.   On the sire
side though most of the horses are noted as SSB (what's that?).  Her
sire is OCHAVO #0398536 I'm not familiar with any of the names on this
side of her pedigree.
